Data Entry / Administration
The reception staff are here to help you and are your link with the rest if the health care team.
They have a difficult job to do with telephone calls and enquiries coming from every direction. When you telephone for medical attention the receptionist may need to ask for a few details in order to judge the urgency of your request. They have been asked to do this and the information you give will always be treated in confidence as they are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.
Our reception staff are our front-line people and the clinicians could not do their jobs without the receptionists and administrative team. We value them highly and expect you to respect them and their role within the practice. As such, any unacceptable behaviour on the part of patients towards our staff will meet with sanctions and zero tolerance, and patients abusing the staff, whether verbally or otherwise, risk being removed from our list.
Help us to help you by staying calm and being polite.
Our midwife shares with our doctors your antenatal and postnatal care. The Midwife is here to help expectant mothers with all aspects of health care during pregnancy and look after mother and baby in the early postnatal period.
She can be reached by contacting the Danson Midwifery Team on 07825844909.
The District Nurses are Karen Smith and Wendy Williams.
They can be contacted via the Community Liaison Team on 0208 320 3550.
Layla Alford is concerned with the promotion of health of all ages with special emphasis on families and their children under the age of five years.
