Although repeat prescribing is computerised it still takes a time to deal with the request. Please allow two working days for your repeat request so that you do not run out of medication (this does not include public holidays or weekends). You can order your repeat prescription in the following ways:

Using the tear-off slip which lists all the drugs for the prescription along with the appropriate dosage. When a new prescription is required please clearly indicate the item or items you require on the request slip and hand it into the surgery.
If you do not have a repeat slip please ask our reception staff for a form and fill in all the details, patients can also ask for a repeat slip from the receptionist Chemists will deliver medications by arrangement to patients home address. Please talk to your chemist if you require this service. To guard any mistakes we do not take requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone. If you wish to enclose a stamped addressed envelope, we are happy to post your prescription to you. You can also arrange with some local chemists to have your repeat prescriptions delivered.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
